2nd NATIONAL WORKSHOP ASEAN SDGs FRONTRUNNER CITIES PROGRAMME – Localising The SDGs Through The Lens of Happiness

This program intended to help cities in ASEAN to be dynamic, inclusive, as well as resilient, in accordance with the vision of ASEAN 2020. Since 2011 until 2017, ASEAN ESC Model cities had successfully supported and acknowledged 40 model cities through initiatives implementation and nature management policies that focuses on bottom up approach. The leadership of municipalities and regions is one of the most significant driving forces in the implementation of the SDGs,

therefore this 2nd National Workshop aimed to introduce roles and functions of IGES to local authorities and important stakeholders in implementing SDGs at ASEAN level.
